preheat the oven on 200

For the meatballs, add the mince, salt and pepper, the eggs and almond flour to a bowl and mix thoroughly to combine

Take a big pinch of the mince mixture and roll in the palm of your hand until it resembles a ball shape and is not falling apart

Place the meatballs in a large heated frying pan with some coconut oil (you may have to do them in batches) brown on all sides and place in an ovenproof dish

For the sauce, add the rest of the ingredients to a pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on a low to medium heat, stirring to combine the herbs and spices

Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and put them in the oven to cook for around 30-40 mins

Remove the meatballs from the oven, grate some cheese over the top and put it back in the oven for 5 mins or until the cheese has melted, serve with lots of green veggies or a big green salad
