- 2 Steak (of choice)
- 2 Tbsp Butter
For the sauce
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 6 mushrooms
- salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Dried onion powder
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- ½ cup Beef stock
- ¼ cup Double cream
Instructions
Method
For the steaks
Step 1: Melt the butter in a frying pan
Step 2: Add the steaks and fry to your liking (I like mine medium-rare)
For the sauce
Step 1: Melt the butter in a frying pan
Step 2: Add the mushrooms & onions, fry for a few mins until soft
Step 3: Add the stock and the Worcestershire sauce & salt and pepper, stirring for around 2 mins
Step 4: Add the double cream, stir until slightly thickened and serve poured over the top of your steaks
